With headquarters in San Diego, California, the company is structured as a virtual organization with a network of associates, highly experienced in their respective fields.
Dr. R. Michael Templeton, the firm's President, has over 40 years experience in the Aerospace/Defense industry, doing business with a number of government agencies and their prime contractors. Dr. Templeton holds a Ph.D. in Industrial Management, an M.S. in Aerospace Systems Engineering, and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering. He has been a National Advisor to the Federal Laboratory Consortium for Technology Transfer (FLC), has facilitated workshops in Advanced Technology Management for the National Technology Transfer Center (NTTC), and has taught MBA-level courses at National University’s School of Management & Technology. In our government business sector, we have successfully competed for and won, Phase I & Phase II contracts. The promising technology from those research efforts is currently being introduced to a number of potential users.
In our commercial business sector, we offer two basic types of services; (1) Technology Push, and (2) Technology Pull.
Technology Push involves helping small business firms to win government SBIR/STTR Program contracts, and then to push the technology out into the marketplace. This activity may include partnering with Federal Labs, Universities, or large prime contractors. It may also include help in getting additional funding from the government or venture capitalists.
Technology Pull involves helping larger companies to locate and acquire specific technologies, personnel, or small business firms. This activity is like having an External Research & Development Program to supplement your internal R&D efforts.
We prefer to work with our commercial clients on an affordable retainer basis, with a well defined set of objectives and timeframe. In a few instances we have agreed to take client company stock as compensation, in lieu of monies.
